Emotional Wellness (MakeWell™️)

Are you disconnected, struggling with change or feeling stuck?

From 15 years as an HR change leader, Director of MakeWell and author of The Key to Mental Health. I’m going to help you stay connected, develop strong coping mechanisms and prevent distress through any life change – divorce, bereavement, retirement, new baby, change of life.

Here’s What We’ll Do Together

In this workshop you will work to develop the skills and confidence to meet challenges head on so you become rock-solid and adaptable, in even the most dramatic of changes.

✓ Discover how to connect and prevent mental and emotional distress – you will be able to apply in real-life situations without sitting in hours of therapy

✓ Breakthrough internal and external resistance and barriers that have stopped you making changes

✓ Help you to let go of all that no longer serves your personal growth – mindsets, people, situations

✓ Learn strategies and tips to empower you so that you do not suffer mental and emotional distress during change.

✓ Build confidence and sustain change by meeting and connecting with peers who are in a similar situation.

The majority of people make changes in their life but do not grow, getting stuck in resistance or bypassing pain.

My name is Kelly Niven, Founder of MakeWell and I have done both.  Resisting growth led to extreme symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. 

Once I recovered, I resisted my own pain so much it led to a breakdown or rather a breakthrough.

It is not necessary to go to such extremes if we learn to manage this process with the right understanding and support.

You can PREVENT getting into such states if you learn to manage change and growth in your life successfully.

This programme is for those who:

• have chosen to make a change, a new relationship? a move to a new town or city? or a new baby?

• change has been forced on you – the loss of someone you love? divorce? retirement? or the change of life?

• are desperate to make changes in your life but feel stuck? You have read all the self-help books and attended workshops? You have tried visioning and the law of attraction but still you are not shifting?

This programme will help you stay connected during change preventing mental and emotional distress

This programme is NOT for those who:

• have severe mental and emotional health symptoms (please see Balance programme)

• want to bypass pain

• don’t want to take accountability, want to hide, blame others

• want to wallow in negativity or stay with people who are holding you back

Coaching

Coaching is an invaluable tool for developing people across a wide range of needs. The benefits of coaching are many; 80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. 86% of companies report that they recouped their investment on coaching and more (source: ICF)

Kelly Niven is the founder of MakeWell and Author of The Key to Mental Health. As an HR change professional (MCIPD) working for brands such as Heathrow, Lloyds Pharmacy and Radisson, Kelly has supported leaders and individuals through significant transformation projects, including attaining The Sunday Times Best Companies award whilst creating a high-performance culture (finance, customer service, people, service delivery).  Kelly is an experienced coach for those individuals struggling with their mental and emotional health during change.

Enlightening workshop

I have been on a self-help journey for a number of years, trying all different approaches. In one workshop, Kelly has helped me open my eyes and recognise that “trying hard” isn’t working. I have taken away the message that I need to sit my numerous books to the side and learn to calm my mind. Still not quite sure how I’ll do it but I do know that I’m up for the challenge! Thank you.
